2022Dirt is a page that originally started in 2017. At first it no more than a personal page for graphic design inspiration. As I kept posting cool stuff, I noticed a gathering of followers who shared similar interests. However, at the time I was so focused on putting together fashionable outfits than posting content everyday. It just wasn't on mind and I didn't care about growing it.

The page was dead for 3 years. It always stayed at the back of my mind, wondering if I should share more design inspiration or keep it locked away. In the meantime, I started to grow through the fashion community and get so many connections. These connections were based off people who enjoyed fashion, but also individuals who ran this thing called archive pages.

The pages that I was familiar with starting up were liljupiter, hidden.ny, yungstarbeam, sinderr, and fashionfuckery. I became great friends with people in this community but one that I always talked to was Ihategum. We would send each other cool content or just message in general. I was aware of what he posted and thought it was so tight.

That's when I remember about the old account I had, at the time it was named yungnootnoot. I thought about the idea of changing the landscape with my own style. Nothing hype, nothing about celebrities, or anything controversial. I wanted to share ideas about nature, raw photography, and interesting facts about our daily life.

When covid happened, everyone was stuck inside with curfews placed by the law. There was nothing else to do, I had no excuse but to mess with this account. Every day I curated content and searched for things that haven't been shared on the platform. I began involving myself and interacting with everyone within the community.

 

The year 2022, was the year I decided to take everything seriously and be consistent every day. With the thought of what came after "2022" in the username, I didn't what to put. The only thought I had of what perfectly explained the genre of what I was sharing online was "dirt". The culmination of everything randomly interesting meshed into one.

I haven't looked back ever since. 

Known by family and friends as Danny Otzoy. 

 

The one who started it all, took a leap of faith. This idea, my creations, and everything meaningful to me. Inspired by my own surroundings. Speaking for my presence, without a voice. Growing up in Lennox CA, motivation and consistency kept me out of trouble. I’m just a young kid reaching for success, bringing people along who want the same for themselves. Leaving my mark on this world, one piece at a time.
